MUNAMBAM BEACH and Pulimuttu (Sea Bridge) is situated just 4 kilometers from Cherai Beach and about 25 kilometers from Kochi city. Munambam is a fishing harbor in northern border of Ernakulam district with Thrissur. A Pulimuttu (sea bridge) has been constructed on the Munambam side and one on the Azhikode side in Thrissur district to facilitate the easy entry and exit of fishing trawlers to the harbor on the bank of river Periyar from the Arabian Sea. This sea bridge of 1-kilometer length protected with wave-dissipating Tetrapod’s is a favorite spot of angling fishing freaks.

Cherai Beach Kochi Kerala – Beach Walk
Cherai Beach is the most popular and crowded beach of Kochi. I traveled
about 3.7 kilometers from Kuzhuppilly Beach to Cherai Beach by beach
road. Very clean beach with lots of options of Water sports. Most
advantage of Cherai beach is the full-time availability of lifeguards
that ensures the safety of tourists venturing into the sea for bathing.
If you are coming directly from Kochi city to Cherai beach, it’s about
25 kilometers from High Court Jun. Usually weekends are too crowded. So
suggest you to visit in weekdays. There's a Toddy shop near the beach
that also serves Kerala authentic cuisine. You can club your visit to
Cherai Beach with nearby Kuzhuppilly & Munambam Beaches. There are
no steps or ramp to reach the beach that makes it difficult for elderly
people to climb down the rocks.

Veliyathamparmb Beach Kochi near Vypin - Beach Walk
Veliyathamparamb beach is an underexplored beach located near Vypin
about 15 kilometers from Kochi city. A small stretch of beach along the
Beach Road in Nayarambalam panchayat with a fishing village nearby. This
beach is clean and void of dangerous waves. Waves breaking into the
rocks covered with algae is an impressive sight here. This is a favorite
spot for angle fishing enthusiasts. This beach comes after Puthuvype,
Valappu, Njarackal, Arattuvazhi beaches on the Kuzhuppilly, Cherai,
Munambam Beach road, Vypin.
