Best 10 Beaches in Kochi (10/10) – FORT KOCHI BEACH Cochin, Ernakulam

Although Fort Kochi beach is the most popular beach in Kochi, you cannot go to the water here to wet your feet because of the large granite stone sea wall. There is a long stretch of walkway on this sea wall where you can walk along or sit on the bench enjoying the sea breeze and can watch large ships very close that entering and going out from Kochi sea port.

A Glimpse into the Fishing Traditions of Kerala: The Thrilling Journey of Indian Fishermen in the Arabian Sea.

India is a country rich in culture and tradition, and one of the most fascinating aspects of its culture is its fishing industry. The video captures the essence of this industry, showing us how fishermen from Puthenthodu Beach near Kochi in the southern Indian state of Kerala, venture into the Arabian Sea to catch fish.

The video starts with a stunning view of the colourful fishing boats of Kerala, bobbing up and down on the sea waves. The boats are uniquely designed, each one decorated in vibrant colours and patterns, a true reflection of the local culture. We see the fishermen pushing their boat into the sea, and then maneuvering it through the waves with incredible skill and dexterity.

As we watch the fishermen at work, we get a sense of the hard work and dedication that goes into their craft. These men have been fishing for generations, and they know the sea like the back of their hand. We see how they work together as a team, communicating with each other through hand signals and gestures, and using their strength and expertise to navigate their way through the treacherous waters of the Arabian Sea.

The video gives us a glimpse into the traditional fishing techniques of Indian fishermen, showing us how they use simple tools and methods to catch fish. We see them casting their nets into the sea, and then hauling in their catch with incredible speed and efficiency. We also see them using hooks and lines to catch fish, a technique that has been used for centuries.

Overall, the video is a beautiful and fascinating glimpse into the rich fishing culture of Kerala. It is a reminder of the hard work and dedication that goes into this industry, and of the incredible skill and expertise of the fishermen who make it all possible. It is a tribute to the traditional ways of life that have been passed down through generations, and a testament to the resilience and resourcefulness of the human spirit.

In the month of September 2022, Neelakurinji ( Strobilanthes Kunthiana ) has been bloomed widely in the Kallippara hills, Santhanpara gram panchayat. Cherai Beach Kochi Kerala – Beach Walk

Cherai Beach is the most popular and crowded beach of Kochi. I traveled about 3.7 kilometers from Kuzhuppilly Beach to Cherai Beach by beach road. Very clean beach with lots of options of Water sports. Most advantage of Cherai beach is the full-time availability of lifeguards that ensures the safety of tourists venturing into the sea for bathing. If you are coming directly from Kochi city to Cherai beach, it’s about 25 kilometers from High Court Jun. Usually weekends are too crowded. So suggest you to visit in weekdays. There's a Toddy shop near the beach that also serves Kerala authentic cuisine. You can club your visit to Cherai Beach with nearby Kuzhuppilly & Munambam Beaches. There are no steps or ramp to reach the beach that makes it difficult for elderly people to climb down the rocks.
