The Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway is a modern marvel of infrastructure that connects the cities of Bangalore and Mysore in the state of Karnataka, India. The expressway is a 10-lane superhighway that spans over 117 kilometers and has reduced the travel time between Mysore and Bangalore significantly.

Our journey on this expressway started in Mysore, where we joined the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway via the outer ring road. We drove in the direction of Bangalore and were amazed by the smooth ride and beautiful surroundings. We captured the beautiful landscapes, picturesque hills, and green fields passing us by in 4K resolution with a GoPro Hero 10 camera mounted as a dashcam, presented in 2x speed hyper-lapse with an aspect ratio of 21:9 to get a cinematic look.

The Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway is a NHAI project that was constructed at a cost of ₹8,000 crore. The foundation stone for this project was laid in March 2018. It's scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March 2023.

The expressway is a game-changer in terms of transportation in the region, with its smooth and efficient design, bringing significant economic growth to the area. It's not just a highway but also an engineering masterpiece that showcases India's ability to create modern infrastructure.

Our journey on this expressway ended at the NICE Ring Road, where the expressway touches the Bangalore city. It was a breath taking experience to drive on such a beautifully designed highway that showcases the incredible landscapes of Karnataka.
