Sights from Fort Vypin beach - April 2015

Fort Vypin (also spelled Vypeen) is the opposite side beach of famous Fort Kochi. Currently Fort Vypin is having more Chinese fishing nets than Fort Kochi once famous for its line of Chinese fishing nets. Vypin is having a stretch of tiled walkway along the beach with this enormous spider web like Chinese nets in front. Most of the operators of these nets also sell fresh fish caught from here, so a person visiting this beautiful seascape can enjoy the beauty of Fort Vypin beach and also take home fresh fish (mostly still alive). Between Fort Kochi and Fort Vypin is the ship channel to Cochin port and the newly opened Vallarpadam Container Transshipment Terminal. So one can watch huge mother ships or cruise liners sailing from near proximity from either of these shores.
