Petronet LNG Terminal, Puthuvype, Kochi - 2013.09.08

Petronet LNG Ltd, India’s largest importer of liquefied natural gas, has received the initial cargo on August 20, 2013 at its newly constructed Puthuvype import terminal near Kochi in Kerala. Wilenergy, the gas tanker ship was carrying liquefied gas from RasGas, Qatar. Featured here are the photos & video of the LNG terminal viewed from Fort Kochi beach.

This enormous Cruise liner passed this narrow channel connecting Arabian Sea and Cochin Port at 7.30 in the morning. The guests at the Fort House Hotel had a fortuity to see the Queen Mary 2 sailing up close.

Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary, Karnataka - November 2012

Is a Bird Sanctuary in the Mandya District of Karnataka about 17 kilometers from Mysore city. The Mugger Crocodile or Marsh Crocodile is a common inhabitant of this sanctuary. Birds like Painted Stork, Asian Openbill Stork, Common Spoonbill, Woolly-necked Stork, Black-headed Ibis, Lesser Whistling Duck, Indian Shag, Stork-billed Kingfisher are found here. Boating on the sanctuary lake is available between 8.30 am and 6.00 pm.
