Boating at Idukki Dam Reservoir, Kerala - Jan - 2009

Stock photos of boating at Idukki dam reservoir which is a rare opportunity to tourists only on festive holidays of Onam and Christmas. This boating is conducted by the Hydel Tourism wing of the Kerala state electricity Board. The speed boat being temporarily brought from Mattupetti reservoir where boating facility is available throughout the tourist season.

    I know it's only an artificial lake created by a dam, but I have to admit, it would make for a pretty good vacation. I can already imagine myself camping out on the lake shore.
