Nelliampathy Mountain cliff, Kerala - Jan 2009

Different views from Nelliyampathy mountain cliff. We can see the landscapes beneath spreading throughout the Nenmara village, Palghat from top of the cliff. The forest surrounding this cliff accommodate a variety of wild animals like bonnet monkeys, langurs , elephants etc. The fresh dung and the crushed tree trunks after eating the barks on the walkway along the ridge are evidences of wild elephant's presence in this forest belt (see photo NLPY_071 below) bordering on the tea plantations.
