Tender Coffee Berries on coffee shrub, Kerala - Jan 2009

As soon as they mature, coffee berries are picked, processed, and dried. The seeds are then roasted, going through distinct physical and chemical modifications. They are roasted to vacillating degrees, conditional upon the desired flavor. They are then broken into fine particles and brewed to make coffee.
